
The London Oyster Guide is the new definitive handbook to over 150 restaurants, bars, markets, merchants, retailers and producers across the capital. Produced in partnership with the Shellfish Association of Great Britain, the guide also covers all aspects of oyster purchasing, preparation, cooking and eating. The guide will be on sale from all good bookshops price £12 from October 2011, and is suitable for foodies, or those wish to try something new.
Colin Pressdee is a food writer, broadcaster and consultant living in London. He has been an active member of the Shellfish Association of Great Britain for over thirty years. He has been an oyster lover all his life and promoted oysters in his own restaurants (The Oyster Perches and the Drangway) in Swansea. He has presented programmes on oysters on Great Food Live on UKTV, and has written articles on oysters in The Times and many other publications
